Conservatives make gays more competitive for jobs

I was musing on the silly idea of denying marriage to gay people. Then I remembered that the neocons also don't want gays to adopt children. The upshot of this is that gays will only cost employers individual health plan benefits. People who might marry and have or adopt kids can be much more expensive to employ. This means that hiring gays is a lot more economical! I'm guessing the neocons have a secret agenda to make sure gays get all the good jobs.

This also neatly explains societal pressure to marry. By marrying someone, you increase your healthcare costs and thereby become less competitive in the workplace. Of course other people want you to marry! It helps them get a job instead of you!

Obviously the Religious Right and Neocons only have the best interests of gays at heart.

At one point, I was thinking the whole "gays shouldn't be allowed to raise kids" had its benefits for me. I figured the right wing should show up and pay my kids' college tuition, so that the kids would escape the horrible fate of being raised by gay people. For some reason, this never worked, though.
